In Concert 2005 and 2006

Corresponding to my first and second years studying at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, during which time I served as an assistant organist on the Wanamaker Organ, the years 2005 and 2006 explored my interest in 'symphonic organ playing' and transcription. Exposure to many great E.M. Skinner instruments and, of course, playing on a daily basis at the Wanamaker Organ, afforded an excellent 'learn by doing' education in this style. A few years later, having embraced many more approaches to music making, I continue to value highly the skills learned while becoming fluent in the techniques and unique musical vocabulary of the 'symphonic school.'
